Dolph is writing his weekly letter to Amy, who lives in Arkansas. He explains how his ‘look’ preceded the ‘Emo’ fashion-style over a decade before it reached its boom. Dolph and Amy have plans to elope to New York together when they are nineteen. They have no set ideas for what to do, but are keen to make connections to people who can set them up with an apartment and jobs. They’ll be happy there. At school tomorrow, Dolph and his friends are planning to sabotage the school-play by hiding the key props in their lockers. Dolph looks serious while he writes about this.
